Looking to put on ~16 pounds of muscle and maintaining a good bit of endurance (a little bit on opposite ends of the spectrum) but not completely sure how to do it effectively and in the time frame I’m working with. Would getting a personal trainer at the gym be worth the cost?
Assuming the same stretches are being done and following the same diet routine, is it normal for one to be able to run 5 miles on concrete/dirt/gravel just fine but charlie horse .5 miles into a run on a treadmill repeatedly?
